  5. Shanthosh hails from a beautiful village in Salem, Tamil Nadu. The most predominant occupation of most people in his village is farming. But when monsoons failed and during famines farmers suffered a lot due to lack of income. Though there were some NGO's and government schemes willing to help farmers during the crisis, they weren't providing enough compensation for the crops. So Shanthosh who graduated from university a month ago with a degree in agriculture decided to start his own NGO along with a group of his colleagues, specific to his village to raise funds for farmers to help them during crisis. He decided to explain his idea to his farmers about the procedure to enrol in his scheme, documents to be submitted etc. The farmers were convinced and happy about his idea and decided to provide full support for him.
